FeedMe is a POS system designed to simplify restaurant operations, offering a modern and user-friendly interface to help restaurant owners streamline their processes.
Originally, features were scattered across separate buttons, making it hard to name and organize them. I came up with the idea of using a "robot" mascot, inspired by IOS Bento calendar, to combine all small features into one button. Over time, we made the mascot more interactive, adding fun animations for events like New Year and Deepavali, making the experience more engaging for users.
To fit different restaurant operations, I created customizable payment options. For example, fast food restaurants use a "Pay First" mode, while other restaurants can choose a "Pay Later" option. Users can easily switch between these modes to match their needs.
To improve user experience during loading or updates, I designed an animated splash page for the POS system, reducing the wait time feel for users.
I also shared design solutions on Medium, including how I created adaptable item cards for different POS use cases. Here's the link to the article.
